MEET THE COACH
Elle Jackson is a life long athlete and has 19 years of experience in hand-to-hand training. Frequent relocation led her to train in any art available at her current location, which included boxing, Kenpo and kickboxing. She is a certified instructor of Krav Maga and currently holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Coach Elle is the lead instructor at Aegis Krav Maga where she is known for her attention to technical detail, clear teaching style, and belief that while violence is serious, we shouldn't take ourselves too seriously.

LADIES SELF DEFENSE
5:30 - 6:30 PM
LADIES ONLY BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU CLASS.
FOCUS IS ON UNDERSTANDING BODY MECHANICS & HOW TO NEUTRALIZE OR MAKE USE OF A LARGER PERSON'S WEIGHT & MOMENTUM
WHEN THEY ARE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY AND/OR TRYING TO PIN YOU DOWN. BJJ UTILIZES:
- THROWS & TAKEDOWNS TO ALLOW YOU TO STAY ON YOUR FEET
- ESCAPES & SWEEPS TO GET YOU BACK ON YOUR FEET AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE
- CHOKEHOLDS & JOINT LOCKS TO INCAPACITATE AN ATTACKER IF NECESSARY
